Villa Florentine, Montreux

Villa Florentine, Montreux

The Villa Florentine was designed in 1894 for the Owner of the Montreal Palace Hotel by the Architect Napoleon – Jules – Philibert Clerc. The architecture of the House is in the style of the Belle Epoque with it’s positioning overlooking Lake Geneva and magnificent views of the surrounding Alps. The House was bought by the present owner in 1991 and the total renovation took 9 years due to it’s dilapidation and disrepair.

Lightplan was commissioned by the Owner to work on all aspects of the renovation including Internal, External and Façade Lighting. The property consists of over 1,000 sq metres of residential and 140 sq metres of Retail space with a variety of types of functional space. The House includes an Indoor Spa, Gym and Pool Area, 6 Bedrooms, Reception Rooms and a top floor Office Area. The Garden was remodelled to take advantage of the magnificent views across Lake Geneva.
